Members of the BNP Paribas private medical benefit can access additional support for cancer – more details can be found in the 2025 handbook and on Spectrum.
Experienced and dedicated cancer nurses and case managers can support you and your family through the whole process. They can speak directly to your doctor, guide on what to expect during treatment, and help you talk about it to loved ones, friends and family.
Support is available for you and your family from the moment your treatment begins, with nurses available 24/7, 365 days a year.

We know how worrying a possible cancer diagnosis is, so we offer direct referral pathways for breast and skin cancer meaning you don’t need to see your GP first. As soon as you have any concerns you can attend a one-stop assessment, typically within 5 days, to screen thoroughly for cancer.
For breast cancer, this includes: clinical examination, imaging (mammography or ultrasound), biopsies if necessary, with indicative outcomes given on the same day (within 5 days if a biopsy is taken).
For skin cancer, this means diagnostic tests and specialist consultations.

Our bespoke health screening looks at a variety of information like family history and pathology and genetic testing to build a risk profile for, and identify signs of, Cancer.
Genetic test results can bring important benefits, but it's important to keep in mind:
• Knowing you’re at risk for a condition doesn’t mean you’ll definitely get it or it's severity if you do.
• Finding out you have a higher risk for a disease may make feel anxious. You might prefer not to have this knowledge.
For more information about the Cancer specific core and advanced screening available as part of your health screen*, please download your employee health assessment brochure here.
